Not Your Grandmother's Peeler
This is the one that does the work for you. The double-sided Japanese steel blade is sharp enough to peel in any direction, on the push and the pull, so it glides whether you're left or right handed. No sawing, no pressing, no peels flying across the counter.
Here's where it earns its spot in the drawer: it takes the skin off a tomato without blanching. Making sauce or canning? Skip the boiling water altogether. That serrated edge grabs the soft, delicate skins a straight blade slides right past, so you keep all the good stuff instead of losing it down the drain.
And it's no one-trick tool. We shred cabbage for slaw with ours, strip the skin off butternut squash, and prep tomatoes for salsa. One peeler, a dozen jobs.
Made from premium Japanese stainless steel and built to last a lifetime of dinners. The body won't bend or break, and that's guaranteed for life. The blade keeps its edge for years, backed by a 20-year guarantee on sharpness.
Lifetime Guarantee
Every Spartan tool is backed for life. If yours ever bends, dulls, or stops performing the way it should, we replace it. No receipts to dig up and no fine print. Email us and we'll make it right.
How to Use
Hold it in whichever hand feels natural and run the blade along your fruit or vegetable in any direction. The double-sided blade cuts on both the push and the pull, so there's no wrong way to hold it. Rinse, dry, and you're done.
Care and Cleaning
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry it right after. The Japanese steel won't rust, but drying keeps the edge at its sharpest. Skip abrasive scrubbers, and store it where the blade won't knock against your other tools. That's the whole routine.
FAQs
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes! All prices shown on our UK store include 20% VAT. The price you see is the price you pay. No surprises at checkout.
Do I have to pay any customs duties or import fees?
Orders under £135 are not subject to UK customs duty, and all of our products fall within this threshold. In rare cases, Royal Mail may charge a small handling fee for processing the customs declaration. If this happens, please reach out to us at info@spartankitchen.ca
Do you offer free shipping to the UK?
We do! Orders of £75 or more ship free to the UK.
Please note: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping details are complete and accurate at the time of checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, any additional shipping costs to resend the order will be the responsibility of the customer.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are packaged and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, and delivery to the UK typically takes 5 to 12 business days depending on your location. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow its journey.

What if my tracking isn't updating?
International shipments can sometimes experience gaps in tracking updates as your package makes its way to Royal Mail for final delivery. This is completely normal. If your tracking hasn't updated in a while and you're concerned, just email us at info@spartankitchen.ca and we'll look into it for you.
What is your return policy?
We offer refunds within 15 days of receiving your order. Please note that all return shipping will be paid for by the customer. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.
Do you offer a warranty?
Of course! We offer a lifetime guarantee on all breakage, bending, and snapping on both our Spartan Peelers and Spartan Shredders. We also offer a free blade replacement on your tools within 20 years of purchase.
Just take a photo of your damaged product as well as a photo of our Spartan logo on the handle and send it to info@spartankitchen.ca. A team member will happily help you with your inquiry and get a replacement product or blade to you
How do I clean my Spartan tools?
All Spartan products may be cleaned on the top rack of your dishwasher, although we highly recommend you hand wash and dry all Spartan products to preserve the sharpness of the blades.
Pro Tip: if handwashing, a dish brush works wonders on the teeth of the blade. Gently pat the blade dry after washing.
Do your tools work for left-handed people?
Absolutely! Our slip-proof, ergonomic handles are designed to be comfortable for both left and right-handed people, as well as individuals with mobility issues.
